Creating & Managing Listings

Learn how to upload and manage your items, services, and rentals.

  • Start by clicking Post in the navigation bar. Choose between Item Listing (selling/buying/exchanging), Service Listing, or Rental Listing.
  • Items are listed with a price, condition, and payment method.
  • Services require a pricing model (hourly, fixed, quote).
  • Rentals require a rate, period, and security deposit.
  • Manage and update your active listings via the Account Page under the Listings tab.

Requesting and Approving Items/Services/Rentals

This is how to initiate a transaction on CartiVerse.

  • Requesting: Click the Shopping Cart (Item), Handshake (Service), or Key (Rental) icon on any post card to initiate a request.
  • Purchase requests are placed in your Cart. Service and Rental requests are directed to their respective management pages.
  • Approval: As a seller, you receive requests in the Requests Dropdown (shopping cart icon in the navbar).
  • Navigate to Purchase/Service/Rental Requests in your account to Approve or Reject incoming requests and initiate the transaction process.

The Coin System and Wallet

Coins are CartiVerse’s internal currency used for transactions and rewards.

  • Earning/Reward: You can earn coins through platform activities (e.g., successful transactions, reviews). Check the Wallet Dashboard for specific reward mechanisms.
  • Top-Up: Coins can be acquired by converting real currency via the Top Up section in your Wallet.
  • Sharing Coins: Use the Send/Share function in your Wallet to transfer coins directly to another user using their ID or username.

Searching and Browsing Listings

Find what you need quickly using search and browsing tabs.

  • Browsing Filters: On the Browse page, use the dedicated filters to search by Category, Post Type, Location, and Sort By (e.g., Recently Added, Price).
  • Global Search: Use the search icon in the navbar for a real-time list of results spanning Posts, Users, and Static Pages.
  • Viewing Posts: Click anywhere on an Item Card (on Index/Browse/Explore) to view its full details on the Post Details page.

Engagement, Notifications, and Analytics

Monitor your performance and stay updated.

  • Engagement: Actions like Likes, Bookmarks, Comments, and Shares help determine a post's visibility and success.
  • Notifications: The bell icon in the navbar shows all engagement and system alerts. The Notifications Page provides a complete history.
  • Analytics: Your Account Page features dashboards to manage listings, view transactions, and analyze post performance (views, engagement counts, etc.).
  • Messaging: Send and receive private messages with other users directly from your Account Page Inbox.

Community Standards

Ensure a positive experience for everyone.

  • All users must adhere to the Terms and Privacy policy to maintain account activity and good standing.
  • Disputes regarding transactions should be submitted via the Dispute Resolution process documented in the Terms.
  • You must be logged in to engage with any post (like, comment, request) or to send messages.
